Legends ID Camp Continues to Lead as the Premier Development Program in Southern California

When Josh Hodges founded Legends FC more than a decade ago he was responding to a pressing need within youth athletics for an elite level training program aimed at preparing young athletes for the collegiate and professional level.

“After my playing career in soccer – I had the opportunity to reflect on my development as a young player – I felt there was a true need for a soccer development program that could serve as a true incubator for future collegiate and professional talent,” said Hodges.

Since 2002 the elite club level soccer program for boys and girls has grown to more than 2,000 players and 130 teams. “The growth of our program has been truly incredible. I feel we have created the training program I wish I had access to as a young aspiring player. A program that provides the best coaching and skills development in the nation where young aspiring and elite level athletes can fully realize their athletic potential,” Hodges continued.

As the next major step in expanding its offerings, Legends FC introduced its ID Camp in 2014. “My vision for the Legends ID camp was to offer an unparalleled opportunity for our club athletes and others to train with collegiate and professional coaches one-on-one, enabling them to understand what coaches are looking for, what the training regimen is like, and to develop a relationship with decision makers at the next level,” said Hodges.  The success of the ID camp has been remarkable, reaching capacity registration each and every year since its founding.

The ID camp series represents yet another major step in Legends FC’s efforts to create a holistic training program and supplementary offerings that can enable aspiring young athletes to realize their potential – both on the field and off.  The next College ID Camp will be this summer.
