Our History
Legends FC SD (formerly DMCV Sharks) is a non-profit, volunteer organization that offers recreational programs, competitive programs and camps for players of all abilities from ages five to nineteen.
The club has been serving the community since its inception in 1970 and offers recreational programs, competitive programs and camps for players of all abilities. As one of the largest soccer clubs in the country, Legends FC SD delivers a quality soccer experience to thousands of kids each year.
Based in suburban Carmel Valley area, the club regularly contends for championships in state and regional soccer tournaments in all age groups. The hallmark of all Legends FC SD teams is superb individual skills. Development of the individual player is emphasized over team success. However, winning is a natural consequence of maximizing each individual player’s potential. Players are given equal playing time in league games and are encouraged to pursue their highest individual goals.
