Legends South Girls Raise Over $1500 for Breast Cancer Research in Honor of Sheryl Johnson

Legends South Girls participated in a walk to raise Breast Cancer Awareness at the Susan G. Komen Race In Murrieta. Multiple teams participated on Team Sheryl’s Angels in honor of Sheryl Johnson who passed away on October 7, 2019, less than a week before the walk.

Sheryl’s granddaughter, Rylee plays on our 2012 team and was surrounded by her Legends soccer sisters that day! The Legends team efforts combined raised over $1500 for Breast Cancer research (not counting the thousands and thousands of dollars Rylee and her family have raised). What an incredible effort and gesture by these young ladies!

Teams Across the Club Unite in Solidarity for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In addition to this incredible effort by the teams in the South region, multiple teams across our club have been joining in to bring awareness to the issue of breast cancer. We are thrilled to see so many young athletes take an interest in such a serious issue. Check out a few of the teams below!
