TopDrawerSoccer Girls Development Academy U15 Playoffs Best XI

GK Hannah Arneson, Legends FC - Arneson and the Legends FC defense only conceded two goals during the four games in Oceanside. The goalkeeper has a veteran experience to her game. She knows how to slow down the play and when to take her time in letting the ball run out so her teammates can catch their breath. She made a couple of great saves in the quarterfinals win over Eclipse. She was also probably the best goalkeeper in terms of distribution.

D Abigail DunbarSan Diego Surf - Dunbar was one of the center back standouts for Surf from the four games. She cut out pretty much every pass and did an excellent job in taking away the center forward outlet.

D Brianna WeberLegends FC - Weber was a star for Legends. She was great defensively and also excellent on the ball. She was one of the few players who looked comfortable using either foot in passing.

D Ella RodgersDallas Texans - Rodgers is a competitive pitbull of the defense. She has been the leader of the squad from the back and a key player for getting Texans into the semifinal round.

M Korbin Albert, Eclipse Select Soccer Club - Albert moves like a player with international experience. She makes subtle fakes to create space and knows where she is passing the ball before she takes a touch. She’s a smart player and a star of the Eclipse club.

M Emily ColtonLA Galaxy San Diego - Colton was a dominant force for the LA Galaxy San Diego group. She kept her squad in pretty much every game during the group stage. She was electric on the ball and difficult to contain.

M Jaedyn ShawFC Dallas - Shaw’s talent is obvious to any observer. She floats around the field with grace, but she’s really a snake in waiting for the time to strike. She’s excellent at surveying the field with the ball at her feet.

M Olivia Moultrie, Beach FC - Moultie was the key piece for Beach FC, despite playing up two age groups. The midfielder is brilliant on the ball and creative in the attacking third.

M Ally LemosLegends FC - Lemos was the best player on the field in Legends’ quarterfinal win. She can make any pass and anticipates the movement of her teammates. She did exceptionally well at finding space for her attacking stars to exploit.

F Avery NicholasSan Diego Surf - Nicholas had strong games in a few of Surf’s wins. Nicholas is good on the cross and she is sneaky off the ball.

F Morganne EikelbarnerFC Dallas - Eikelbarner has been the big-time finisher for Dallas all season as she lived up to the billing in Oceanside. She scored both of the goals in the quarterfinal victory.

Others Considered: Maggie Cagle (SC del Sol), Faith Nguyen (So Cal Blues), Camryn Lancaster (Dallas Texans), Bailey Wesco (Dallas Texans), Sara Ybarra (Beach FC), Sophia Fisher (SC del Sol), Ashlyn Miller(Dallas Texans), Alexandra Thompson (San Jose EarthquakesDorrian Savage (San Diego Surf), Hillary Schroeder (San Diego Surf
